Robert Augenstein, CPA – Partner
Rob oversees client and vendor relations. Prior to co-founding nexDimension, Rob worked for over nine years at Lighthouse Group, a leading national business partner for Microsoft Business Solutions offering financial, analytical and business intelligence solutions to mid-market companies and divisions of publicly-traded Fortune 500 companies. Rob also provided consulting, accounting and tax services at Frazier & Deeter, one of Atlanta's largest regional accounting firms. He also served as the CFO for two closely-held companies where he managed the operations of the accounting and technology departments and was responsible for addressing their management information needs.
Rob is a CPA, holds a M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida. With over 20 years of financial and technology management experience, he is a proponent of incremental change to satisfy the information demands of growing businesses.
Michael Bodker, CPA – Partner
Mike provides leadership in devising services to support nexDimension's clients. With over 20 years experience serving clients in the areas of tax, accounting, business process reengineering and technology vision, he works tirelessly to understand each client's unique business issues to help determine how the combination of applying technology and process reengineering can address them.
Mike currently leads nexDimension's Government Services practice which allows him to take advantage of his experience as Mayor of Johns Creek, Georgia, a city he was instrumental in founding in 2006. Mike also founded the North Fulton Municipal Association (NFMA) in 2007 and was elected as its first Chairman. Further, the Metro Atlanta Mayors Association (MAMA), a cooperative alliance of 65 mayors in the 10-county metro Atlanta region, selected Mike as its 2008-09 Chairman. Mike is also a Board Member and Chairs the Revenue & Finance Committee of the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA). He is a proven thought leader in topics related to local government and now uses this knowledge to help local governments improve using performance management techniques.
Prior to co-founding nexDimension, Mike was a partner at OmniVue Business Solutions, a leading hosting, managed services and consulting provider for users of Microsoft Dynamics software. He previously co-founded Lighthouse Group, a leading national business partner for Microsoft Business Solutions. He also worked at Deloitte & Touche and two local accounting firms. Mike is a technology consultant as well as a CPA who holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Georgia. He is a member of The Georgia Society of CPAs and has an extensive background in the areas of accounting systems and taxation.
Dan Derin – Vice President of Sales
Dan brings more than 20 years of experience in the software services industry to his role as Vice President of Sales. His breadth of industry experience in sales, marketing, and strategic development is driving the company's efforts to market a unique suite of products and services that help businesses turn their vital software technologies into a competitive advantage.
Prior to joining nexDimension, Dan was a principal guiding clients through turnaround management, where he managed complex mergers and acquisitions and led operational and strategic projects for multinational clients in multiple industries. Earlier, Dan was President of U.S. Operations for Customer1 where he led global sales and marketing efforts with an emphasis on CRM solutions.
Dan holds a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University with honors. Dan and his family reside in Cumming, Georgia.
Steven Jirschele – Principal & Director of Consulting Operations
Steve provides leadership in the delivery of services and support to nexDimension clients. He brings a unique perspective from technology implementation for 20 years and as a solution provider for almost ten. Prior to joining nexDimension, Steve served as a Director at Lighthouse Group. He started his professional career as Controller for a large division of Corning for 13 years.
In addition to financial responsibilities, Steve implemented software solutions, some of which are still being used at Corning today. Steve has assisted various companies in internal consulting roles and provided guidance for turnarounds of several businesses. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin.
